I went to my yearly eye appointment yesterday but I had to get B to drive me since I always get my eyes dilated.  It’s a pain to attempt to drive when your eyes are looking like Mr. Burns.  As always, Dr. Woo made my visit lovely and, I’m happy to report that while my vision changed slightly, I am not suffering from diabetic retinopathy.  As a matter of fact, diabetes has not damaged me in any way, aside from the exclusion of all things sweet and yummy.  (I’m looking at you, Shipley’s Donuts!)  Shit, I even managed to escape the EMG, the cardiopulmonary test as well as the dreaded and much hated, CGM this year; a first for me.  Now I just have to go back Thursday afternoon to get some help finding some new frames since nothing stood out for me yesterday.  I did like a pair of frames but it was the pair of frames I’m wearing now.
